Las Vegas will host a number of spectacular firework shows — on and off the Strip — to celebrate America's independence. Check out our guide to the biggest patriotic events in honor of July 4th.
Catch the Fireworks Early
Caesars Palace will kick off Independence Day Weekend with a fireworks show from the resort's rooftop on June 30 around 9:20 p.m. Viewing parties will take place at numerous Caesars Entertainment properties, including the Venus Pool at Caesars Palace, the Eiffel Tower Viewing Deck at Paris Las Vegas and the Go Pool at the Flamingo. VooDoo Steakhouse will host a private five-course dinner featuring Perrier-Jouet on the outdoor patio on the 50th floor of the Rio.Photo: The Plaza
The Plaza will have its own celebration on June 30 at the western edge of Fremont Street. The hotel's recently renovated rooftop pool will host a free party beginning at 7 p.m. The night will feature a Coney Island-style hot dog eating contest, holiday-themed cocktails, an on-site food truck and perfect views of the Plaza's fireworks show at 10 p.m.
Experience the Tallest Tower in Vegas
The 1,149-foot-tall Stratosphere will erupt in fireworks at 9:15 on July 4. The best views will be from a viewing party at the Elation rooftop pool. Stop by earlier in the day, when locals with Nevada ID can access the tower's viewing deck for free 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and enjoy two-for-one meals at the Crafted Buffet.
Watch Fireworks Around the Valley
Station Casinos properties will host several firework celebrations around the Las Vegas Valley on July 4. They include the Red Rock Resort in Summerlin, Green Valley Ranch in Henderson and for the first time ever, a display between Fiesta Rancho and Texas Station with a "Battle of the Alamo" block party near Rancho Drive and Lake Mead Boulevard. All of the shows are expected to begin around 9 p.m. and last nearly 10 minutes.
