It's football season and sports books will be eagerly collecting wagers while fans check out the latest games. Here's the lowdown on the hottest places in Las Vegas to enjoy football.

Bet at the Newest Sports Book on the Strip

The Wynn Las Vegas revamped its sports book in time for football season. It now features a colorful new look and a massive curved LED video screen that measures 137-by-11 feet. Enjoy the view from comfortable swivel chairs and private desks with USB ports and charging stations. Food is served - morning and night - from Charlie's Bar + Grill. Try the macaroni and cheese fritters.

Win Tickets to the Biggest Game of All

Head to the M Resort and visit 32-Degrees Draft Bar, M Bar or M Vue Bar. Four-of-a-Kind combination hits on bartop video poker machines earn players a chance to win two tickets to the Super Bowl in 2018. Play during select games throughout the season.

Go Whole Hog

Virgil's Real Barbecue at The LINQ is kicking off the football season with a Pig Skin Party on Monday, September 11th on the patio. An entire pig will be smoked with complimentary bites passed out to guests. There will also be a football menu offering BBQ nachos, smoked wings and other sports bar favorites.

Beer Park at the Paris hotel and casino is offering a pig roast of its own every Saturday afternoon during college football season. An entire pig will be slow-roasted and served with a variety of traditional sides and BBQ favorites. Games can be watched on dozens of high-def television and bets can be placed at Beer Park's in-house sports book.

Get Familiar with the Raiders

The Downtown Las Vegas Events Center will be transformed into a "Downtown Watch Zone" on select Sundays throughout the season. In particular, during games featuring the Oakland Raiders, who will be relocating to Las Vegas within a few years. Enjoy stadium-style seating, plenty of food and drink specials that include $15 bottomless mimosas (9 a.m. to 1 p.m.), beer buckets and coolers. Private VIP tables can be reserved for parties of 12 or more.
