Las Vegas is known for its adventurous lineup of restaurants, featuring savory dishes like steak, foie gras and anything else you can imagine. But what about the sweet stuff? Don't worry Sin City has more than a few sinfully delicious places to grab dessert.
The pastry shop from "Cake Boss" Buddy Valastro can be found at the Grand Canal Shoppes inside the Venetian. Sitting across the hallway from the celebrity chef's own Buddy V's Ristorante, Carlo's Bakery draws long lines of fans, eager to get their hands on cookies, cannoli's and lobster tails.
Gourmet chocolates and pastries are given a French twist, courtesy of Chef Jean Philippe Maury. One grab-and-go location can be found at the Aria, while another is at the Bellagio (with an elaborate display billed as the world's largest chocolate fountain).
Head to The LINQ outdoor promenade, where this shop serves up addictive cupcakes and ice cream sundaes. If you show up outside of regular store hours (or just want to skip the line), there's a "Cupcake ATM" outside that makes a purchase quick and easy.
Payard Patisserie & Bistro
A chocolate shop and cafe all rolled up in one, the treats offered by Francois Payard are among the tastiest on the Strip. Enjoy some chocolates or macaroons while on the run, or grab a seat and order a full breakfast or lunch.
One of the best culinary adventures in Las Vegas is exploring Chinatown, just east of the Strip. For an Asian spin on desserts, try Sweets Raku. In addition to unique sorbets and pastries, you can also enjoy a few savory options, including sandwiches and cheese plates. There's even a pairing menu for lunch and weekends.
