The Life is Beautiful festival has proven to be one of the biggest events of the year in Las Vegas. By taking over several Downtown blocks each fall, it combines the best of music, food, art and inspiration - all in one exciting location. Check out some of the highlights for the upcoming three-day celebration held September 27-29.

Music

Enjoy a variety of acts spread out among four stages within the festival grounds. Top headliners this year include Muse, Gorillaz, Chance the Rapper, Lorde and Blink 182. The well rounded lineup features 78 acts, ranging from familiar favorites like De La Soul to up-and-coming stars like Haim and Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness.

Food

More than 40 eateries will be represented. Top Las Vegas restaurants include B&B Ristorante (Italian), STK (steak) and Rx Boiler Room (American fusion). Meanwhile, Wicked Maine Lobster from San Diego and Seattle's Wildfin (both seafood) are just a couple of the out-of-town guests. Grab a bite from a number of food trucks as well, with White Rabbit (Filipino fusion) and Picanha Steak (Brazilian) among the favorites. Guests with ultra-VIP Passes (VVIP) can enjoy bites from Carnevino (one of the best steakhouses in Vegas), Hamasaku (Japanese) and Little Fatty (Asian comfort food).

Art

Life is Beautiful always has a stellar lineup of art creators and this year is no exception. The works, including structures and murals, often remain a part of the Downtown cityscape long after the festival has wrapped up. Look out for the playful graffiti art of b. and the colorful interactive 3D spaces of Morag Myerscough. Also new this year: roaming "art cars" that travel around the festival grounds with bold futuristic designs and DJs on board pumping dance music.

Inspiration

Whether it's comics or inspirational speakers, Life is Beautiful welcomes a diverse lineup that's ready to grab the mic and take the stage. Enjoy laughs from the likes of Mike Lawrence and Sarah Tiana or engage in some new ideas from "Science Guy" Bill Nye, singer Rachel Platten and YouTube blogger Bethany Mota.
