It's shaping up to not only be a big summer pool season, but also a big summer concert season. Some of the biggest acts in music are coming to Las Vegas… and they be performing outdoors. So grab your bathing suit and start making plans now to catch these top poolside shows.
The GO Pool is stepping up its entertainment game this year with a diverse lineup of big name stars. Sugar Ray (June 25) and Everclear (July 16) will keep the 90s alive during the "Night Jams" concert series while Mya (June 3) and Montell Jordan (August 5) bring some classic R&B hits to the Strip.
It's hard to find a better place to watch a show during the summer than the Mandalay Bay Beach. With the audience on the sand and the stage overlooking a massive wave pool, it's the perfect environment for an outdoor party. Concerts this summer include the reggae sounds of Ziggy Marley (June 17), "I Love the 90s" (September 2) featuring Salt n' Pepa, Tone Loc and Young MC and "Lost 80s Live" (September 9) with the likes of Wang Chung, Berlin and Tony Hadley of Spandau Ballet.
Hard Rock Hotel & Casino
The Hard Rock is looking good these days after a series of renovations, but it's always been known for having great music, from large venues like The Joint to small venues like Vinyl. However a long tradition of poolside concerts will continue this summer with recent chart toppers Lukas Graham (May 25) as well as ska favorites Less Than Jake (July 21) and the latest edition of the annual punk-heavy Vans Warped Tour.
The Boulevard Pool will kick off summer with CBS Radio's 2017 SPF Festival (May 20) featuring acts that have seen plenty of airplay over the last year or so. Headliners include DNCE, Hailee Steinfeld and Jason Derulo.
