Whether it's New Year's Eve or Memorial Day Weekend, Las Vegas is perfect for any holiday... including Valentine's Day. There are more than a few fun experiences to explore while celebrating the biggest day of the year for romance.
Dine in Style
Every top restaurant on the Strip will be doing something special for Valentine's Day. One of our favorites is Morels Steakhouse & Bistro at the Palazzo, where a special five-course dinner is a steal at $99 (plus optional wine pairings for an extra $60). The night begins with stuffed squash blossom with goat cheese and herbs followed by a Caesar salad prepared tableside. Next comes lobster heart-shaped ravioli and then a main course of beef tenderloin and Alaskan crab slaw with roasted vegetables. The night wraps up with a Baked Alaska, torched tableside.
Enjoy the View... Twice!
Sometimes dinner comes with more than just a meal. The Eiffel Tower Restaurant at Paris Las Vegas has a special Valentine's VIP Package for $1,400 per couple. It includes a Gala Dinner prix fixe menu served at a window table overlooking one of the best views in Las Vegas, followed by a tour of the Strip by your choice of helicopter or limousine with champagne toast. The dinner also comes with a dozen roses, personalized photo, caviar and choice of red or white wine (with optional Dom Perignon upgrade).
Do Brunch Instead
Some couples prefer a "day date" to a late night. That's why Kitchen Table in Henderson is serving a Valentine's Brunch on February 14, 18 and 19. Guests are welcome on a first-come, first-serve basis for a chef's menu of watermelon feta salad and sriracha pork belly benny with candied carrots and tater tots. Dessert is a serving of chocolate monkey bread with strawberry infused caramel. It's only $35 per person.
Rebel Against Love
A few places are offering "Anti-Valentine's Day" specials where large groups of friends can get together for a night of fun. Carmine's in the Forum Shops at Caesars has a "Girls Gone Garlic" package that includes giant portions of salad, pasta and the restaurant's famous Titanic Sundae (which is almost enough for a meal all by itself) with a bottle of Prosecco. Virgil's at The LINQ promenade has "The Pig Out" for two that includes Memphis pork ribs, Texas beef brisket, Carolina pulled pork, Kansas BBQ chicken and a choice of two sides. There are a few gallon cocktails as well... perfect for the entire table to share.
Have a Picnic on the Strip
Beer Park is featuring a "Picnic in the Park" three-course meal for two. It includes a half-bottle of sparkling wine and a large beer, hummus and onion dip with chips and vegetables, three shareable entrees (curried chicken salad sandwich, cold beechwood smoked salmon with cucumber yogurt and a house-smoked roast beef sandwich) plus a fresh fruit bowl and Hexx's chocolate mousse and single-origin chocolate bars for dessert. The price is $100 per couple and includes a stellar view of the Strip and Bellagio fountains across the street.
