St. Patrick's Day is about more than wearing green and chowing down on Bangers n' Mash. It's also one of the busiest drinking days of the year. So be safe -- and have fun -- while planning your Irish-themed festivities. Here are a few options to get the drinks flowing.

A "Green Party" beer crawl will take place inside the outdoor retail complex on March 17 featuring $4 pints of green beer from Sin City Brewing Co. (or $7 without a ticket) and $5 Jameson shots. Check-in begins at 10 a.m. at Redneck Riviera. Other participating stops include Wahlburgers, Giordano's, Born and Raised, Fuel Bar and Time Floats Tiki Bar. The crawl last until 4 a.m. with discounts (and a t-shirt) for ticket holders.
The popular downtown restaurant will serve a boiler maker (or side shot) of Irish Whisky for $5 with a purchase of any beer at regular price. There will also be a Corned Beef and Cabbage Sandwich with Guinness mustard for $15.
Shoppes at Mandalay Place
Ri Ri Irish Pub throws a St. Patrick's Day bash all week long, with authentic Irish musicians, cuisine and libations. The special holiday menu features Corned Beef and Cabbage, Publicans Reuben, Fish and Chips, Shepherd's Pie and Guinness Stew. Head next door to the largest official Guinness retail shop outside Ireland, where you'll learn how to properly pour a draft yourself (and maybe take home a few bottles as well.)
After a big day (or weekend) of drinking, you may want to detox (and "retox") at the same time. The Juice Standard is standing by with its Dirty Martian cocktail, which combines the Bee Resilient juice combo of romaine, spinach, cucumber, parsley, kale, microgreens, ginger and lemon with vodka, vermouth and olive juice.
These are just a few ideas. VegasGiant is ready to help plan the perfect St. Patrick's Day holiday weekend party. Just call (702) 476-0001.
