The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas is expanding its reputation for modern design with an ongoing renovation project. When finished at the end of 2018, most of the resort's 3,027 rooms will have a brand new look and improved tech features.
The design process took about 18 months, with 20 designers invited to bid on the project. The field was eventually narrowed down to a handful of finalists who built 14 model rooms on property. Select guests and employees offered feedback and the Cosmopolitan approved concepts from New York's Virserius Studios and the hotel's own in-house design team.
